CALIFORNIA DREAMIN’ 2025

The California Building will come alive this fall for California Dreamin’, the annual open studio event just ahead of the holiday season. Patrons are invited to explore six floors of art with more than 40 participating studios, get hands on with demos and classes, and listen to live music from a variety of local musicians. Food and drink will be available from the on-site café, Mojo Coffee Gallery.

The event is free to the public, though some activities and demos within the building may require prior registration and fees. Details available at www.californiabuilding.com. On-site parking will be available (street and parking lot). Studios are all accessible as well.

About the California Building:
With nearly 100 artists, the six-story California Building is home to one of the largest concentrations of creativity in the award-winning Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. Building owners Jennifer Young and John Kremer have rented studios to artists since their purchase of the building in 1991, and both the building and the artists serve as an anchor for the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, with a long commitment to the arts, community, and arts sustainability.

Saturday, November 15, from 12-8 p.m
Sunday, November 16, from 12-5 p.m.
