BOOKS

BOOKS organized by WICK, at Northeast Sculpture | Gallery Factory, brings together private collections of artist books, university archives of art history slides and scholarly journals within a domestic lounge setting, in pursuit to further an approachable yet more involved mode of viewing and experiencing books. The opening will happen on March 27 from 6 - 8 p, with weekly community events happening throughout the duration. The exhibition is also open by private appointments.

Annually NES provides WICK with a residency to take over the gallery and conduct its own programming. Special thanks to NES for the continued residency over the past four years in addition to the collectors who loaned their books for this specific iteration.

WITHDRAWN
The first in a suite of forthcoming engagements, WITHDRAWN will provide a focused and communal exercise activating vintage scholarly art historical journals taken out of circulation/deaccessioned from the University of Minnesota's Wilson Library . A representative present will instruct and direct a group interface with the collection, and ensure participants operate within known bounds.
