Body and Machine 2016: Kinetic and Interactive Art

Body and Machine 2016: Kinetic and Interactive Art

Juried exhibition of kinetic sculpture and interactive artworks from 24 regional artists hosted by Make It Move.

Make it Move announces its second juried exhibition, Body and Machine 2016: Kinetic and Interactive Art. This exhibition will have its opening on Saturday, April 2nd from 7 to 11PM at the Northrup King Building 3rd Floor Gallery (#332). Midwestern Artists from four states will be exhibiting their work as well as music and performance by Savage Aural Hotbed. This exhibition will run for three weeks, closing on Sunday, April 24th.

This juried exhibition was open to all artists making kinetic and interactive art, and more than one third of the artists are from outside the Twin Cities. The twenty-four artists in the show range from students to veteran kinetic sculptors. Interactive light sculptures, robotic bats, and anthropomorphic wall projections are just a few things in store for visitors to the exhibition. Last year’s exhibition brought hundreds of visitors to the gallery, this year’s show will be equally impressive.
