Indeed Brewing hosts local photographer, Lucas Roberge, for a photo gallery opening and live demonstration of film development using Indeed beer.
On Saturday, Feb. 7, Minneapolis’ Indeed Brewing Company is hosting local film photographer and developer, Lucas Roberge, for a live demonstration of his craft, but with an exciting twist. Instead of developing film in the typical store-bought developer (Rodinal, Ilfotol, etc.), Roberge will harness the naturally-occurring film-developing agents in beer, mixed with some household chemicals, to bring his black-and-white photos to life.
This event will take place on Saturday from 5-8pm in the Ox Taproom and is free and open to the public. There will also be a vinyl record player spinning tunes BYOV-style throughout the evening—guests are invited to bring a vinyl to be played.
Roberge’s original framed photos will be on display in the Ox for the remainder of February.
