Art of Possibilities Show & Sale

Courage Kenny presents their 57th annual celebration of artists with disabilities featuring a virtual exhibition and sale

The Art of Possibilities Art Show & Sale featuring artwork created by artists with disabilities from Minnesota and across the United States will kick off with a virtual Opening Reception on April 21 at 6 p.m. at www.CourageArt.org. The virtual art and sale will be online April 21 – May 14, 2021.

Art of Possibilities is presented by Smead Manufacturing Company and Courage Kenny Foundation. The 2021 Honorary Co-Chairs are distinguished artists Anne Labovitz (Labovitz.com) from St. Paul, MN and Anthony Zaremba from Whiting, NJ (AnthonyZaremba.com). The annual art show, now in its 57th year, is a three-week exhibit showcasing a juried selection of works exclusively featuring artists with disabilities. This year we are honored to feature 360 pieces of original artwork submitted by 135 artists from Minnesota, and all across the

United States, Singapore and Denmark. All art will be available for sale at prices established by the artists. By showcasing their art, Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute helps illustrate that a physical or sensory impairment does not diminish creativity, talent or ability.

Art of Possibilities is honored to recognize Honorary Co-Chair, Anthony Zaremba on 25 years of participating in the annual art show. Throughout his involvement he has sold numerous pieces of work and has received many awards. Anthony Zaremba says, “Multiple sclerosis has been a part of my life for 35+ years. My companion is my love of art, something MS did not and will not take from me. The MS progression affecting fine motor skills and vision make my watercolors appear not as finely detailed but are loose and free. A new style of painting was created that has an abstract look, and I am pleased with it. I listen to classical music when I am painting, and often paint musicians. I see beauty in people and everyday events, and I am most comfortable capturing a painting of everyday life. I am a Graduate of School of Visual Arts, NYC, and a retired as a dental technician. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Art of Possibilities for a quarter of a century, and grateful for your support and encouragement.”
