Embracing the luminous reflections and cyclical transformations of rivers and lakes, visual artist Annie Irene Hejny combines collected freshwater sand sediment with acrylic to share the stories of these places.

The Department of Art History Gallery is located on the first floor of the O’Shaughnessy Educational Center (OEC) at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
