A joint capstone exhibition funded by the Racial Justice Fund that makes an ironic commentary on harmful museum practices and calls for community care.
A joint senior capstone project funded by the Racial Justice Fund and opened alongside the Macalester College Latin American Studies Symposium. The first installation makes an ironic commentary on museum and academic practices that have brought harm to Indigenous communities. The second installation asks the audience to reflect on harmful issues and engage in community care through interactive activities. As a whole, the exhibition seeks to spark the motivation for mutual aid and create awareness of institutional harm in academic spaces.
