A Collection of Truths

Sculptures examining the realities of our interactions.

In A Collection of Truths artists Kordula Coleman and Linda Seebauer Hansen use their work to examine the realities of interactions.

For Coleman, a student of human nature, her ceramic sculptures focus on human emotional and intellectual processes, particularly with regard to our interactions with animals.

For Hansen the interactions she explores in her sculptural relief pieces are on an even more personal level relating to familial, rural, and maternal sources. Using heavily textured, painted surfaces in combination with attached metal sculptural elements Hansen’s work express characteristics and complexities both recognizable and abstract.
