37 Years of Vision — A Retrospective and Reflection

37 Years of Vision — A Retrospective and Reflection

This exhibition honors Laura E. Migliorino’s remarkable 50-year career as an artist and her 37 years as a dedicated educator at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, from which she retired in 2023. Showcasing work created between 1975 and 2025, the exhibition traces the profound connections between her studio practice and her teaching. "37 Years of Vision" celebrates a lifetime of creativity, mentorship, and the enduring influence of both roles.

Born in Cleveland and raised near Chicago, Migliorino earned her BFA from The Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from the University of Minnesota. Her work is held in the Walker Art Center, the Weisman Museum, and the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, and has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, and Rome. She has received major support from the Jerome Foundation and the Minnesota State Arts Board, and her honors include an Affiliated Fellowship at the American Academy in Rome and a 2022 Fulbright at the British Library. Her projects have been featured in DOMUS, Huffington Post, and DWELL.

The Century College Art Gallery is on the West Campus inside the Theater/Fine Arts Entrance.
