2026 St. Paul Fall Art Crawl at Schmidt
A massive showcase of over 80 resident and local guest artists featuring open studios, live demonstrations, and food trucks at the Historic Schmidt Brewhouse.
The St. Paul Fall Art Crawl showcases the original artwork of over 80 residents and local guest artists throughout the Historic Schmidt Brewhouse. Visitors are invited to explore gallery spaces, working ceramic and paint studios, Phil Gagnè Hall, the Atrium, Clubroom, Multipurpose Room, and the tunnel-level area. The event features a wide array of disciplines, including painters, printers, potters, photographers, fiber artists, jewelers, illustrators, woodworkers, and more. A Kids Creative Corner is also available for families.
On the rooftop, guests can witness live painting and art demonstrations hosted by Art Battle Minnesota. This rotating group of artists will demonstrate their unique creative processes against the backdrop of the St. Paul skyline and the autumn colors of the Mississippi River Valley. Early visitors can participate in a daily giveaway; the first 25 shoppers each day to spend over $100 on art will receive a free, limited-edition Schmidt tote bag designed by Rowan Garrigan.
A variety of local food trucks will be on-site at the Plaza, including Gondolier Coffee Cart, Eggroll Queen, Trickster Tacos, Hopper’s Mini Donuts, and Savanna Food Trucks. The event is organized in conjunction with the Saint Paul Art Collective, with over 30 locations participating throughout the city. Attendance is free, and ample free parking is available on nearby city streets.
