2 New Exhibitions at Praxis

This event is free and open to the public. Guests are invited to mingle with artists and fellow photography enthusiasts while exploring four galleries of contemporary photographic art and enjoying complimentary refreshments. 26 Minnesota artists are featured in group shows, along with artists from 22 other states and 5 foreign countries.

The exhibitions will be on display from October 18 – November 08, 2025.

This exhibition explores the intersection of image and text—how language appears, interrupts, or transforms visual narratives. From signage to scrawled handwriting, the selected works use words as both symbol and subject

New! Gallery 2: THE INTERPRETATION OF DREAMS
Photography becomes a portal into the unconscious in this surreal and lyrical exhibition. Artists explore dream logic, symbolic gestures, and interior worlds through abstraction and metaphor.

Gallery 4: The Subtlety of Place — Carl Shultze (Solo Exhibit • Ongoing)
Silver gelatin landscapes crafted in the darkroom, capturing the quiet character of place through time, light, and close attention.
