The Project

In Fall of 2020, MPLSART launched the MPLSART Sketchbook Project - a new initiative to bring artists together in a time of isolation as well as a way to provide artists with some well needed financial support. Over 60 Twin Cities artists contributed amazing original work to one of five sketchbooks. The project includes a wide range of artists, from established fine artists to hobbiest, creating an amazing, one of a kind snapshot of the Twin Cities arts community during this unprecedented year.

The Book

In Spring 2021, MPLSART will be publishing the 2020 Sketchbook Project into a beautiful limited edition hardcover book showcasing each of the contributing artists. This one-of-a kind book will feature art exclusively created for the Sketchbook Project not seen anywhere else. Profits from the presale of the book will go directly to the contributing artists.
