Transient Sights

Transient Sights

A site-specific installation from Alonzo Pantoja at Normal Residential Purposes

Transient Sights is a collection of handweavings by Alonzo Pantoja addressing orientation, impermanence, and queerness as it relates to space and comfort. Using materials and objects already present, the work is a direct response to the space. By integrating the weavings as moments of gathering, they are temporarily co-existing and functioning as stand-ins for queerness.

The show will take place in the backyard of Normal Residential Purposes, and will be open by-appointment 11am–5pm Saturday, August 8 and 3pm–9pm Sunday, August 9. To make an appointment, email normalresidential@gmail.com

Notes on accessibility and COVID-19 precautions are provided on the website.
