John comes from an illustration background, working both locally & nationally, and over time has shifted toward fine art - oil painting specifically. His paintings have been well received and collected across the country. That’s firmly set his dedication to art on an independent path.

John likes to think of each piece as part of a larger story. The goal is to connect with people using a variety of themes, both highbrow and lowbrow, often with a little humor and a bit of pathos added. Like a visual mixtape.
