Spring Arts at Heritage

Spring Art opening sponsored by Northside Arts Collective

Spring is a time of emerging, and that is what the Northside Arts Collective (NAC) is doing. The better term may be re-emerging: concentrating on exhibiting the art of it’s members at an “Alternative” Art Gallery. It is called “Alternative” because although it is open 6 days a week, it has no gallery attendant. Rather, it has self guided tour information and contact information for direct purchases from the artist. The gallery space is in the hallways surrounding the Heritage YMCA. Regular gallery viewing hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Over 150 artworks displayed, from the playful and mysterious “Glimpse of the Unicorn” by Christine Mitzuk: to the award winning “Moonshadow Survival” by Tom Wolfe depicting dramatic survival in the Arctic.

The Heritage YMCA is located just West of the International Market Square. The art is family friendly suitable for all ages, and refreshments will be served. FREE EVENT
