Gallery 360 kicks off the new year with an enlightening new exhibit by local artist Andrew Vomhof that fascinates with the idea of time expressed through a series of drawings. This showing of work entitled, “Lunar Topographies”, is created with unique industrial technologies honed and developed by Vomhof. Working with vintage programming and a CNC machine, Vomhof’s work creates topographic drawings through dimensional data point mapping programs. The artwork that emerges is contemporary in appearance and embodies Vomhof’s many different interests such as stars, the moon and even our local Minneapolis lakes. This innovative exhibit is sure to stimulate and excite the most inquisitive of audiences.
