My Monday blues are gone, however, before I turn to “everything is perfect” & “I love minneapolis” mode, thought I would pass on this article by local arts critic, Michael Fallon. I am sure some have already seen it, as it was published to mnartists.org on the 14th of May.

    I received this email as a reply to the blog/linked article. Since I come at this as the art supporter and not the artist…I thought I should share this artist’s view:

    here it is:
    art is unrewarding in terms of making a living but making art is like a
    drug. the act provides more powerful bliss than anything else i do. it
    would be nice to be a doctor or a lawyer or some other rich person…i’d
    rather be poor and high.
