Outsiders & Others Over... The Silver Lining

Published March 21st, 2007 by Emma Berg

Outsiders & Others shut its doors two weeks ago. In talking to Yuri, it sounds as though many of you are a bit sad, but I don't see it that way.

Yuri Arajs, will be using his much needed extra time to be working on his own work and of course a new project.

As a patron, I will miss Outsiders & Others, however, I am much more excited to see what Yuri does next. His vision for projects is expansive; he has a couple under wraps that I'm enthralled by. His optimism for what this city and it's art scene is uplifting...even with that underlining sarcasm. I think the new venture Yuri is undertaking and the removal of the added responsibilities of surviving as a non-profit is only a positive for mpls.

the silver lining,
emma
