Now let’s hope that he comes home to help color our city pretty (the 94 and lyndale underpass is looking pretty grim).

No disrespect to 27, and I congratulate him on his success in NY, but the term “king” is something that is earned over the course of time. It’s about quality and quantity, but most importantly, longevity.

Duece does it, that’s for sure. He deserves the praise.

Thanks for representing Minneapolis in the Big Apple.

Wow. That’s great for him. If I ever need a transplant or anything requiring a pile of cash it’s good to know I could possibly get a lot for the painting I bought. Although I would hate to give it up.

He went to New York and hit hard. He came from Minneapolis. People noticed. It’s good for all of us.

And it’s important to remember that we don’t pick our own titles.

“Gothamist’s Jake Dobkin, who also runs an online street-art collection called Streetsy, declared, ‘New King in Town: Deuce Seven.’”

There’ll be a new king soon.
