The Hero On The Shower Curtain

This brand of idolatry will last for years . . . at least the amount of time it will take for a plastic shower curtain to become dust.

 

Seen simultaneously as both evidence of trivialization and populism of his workplace counteraction, the marketing of this echo of his is worthy of commentary. This modest exhibition focuses less on the public commentary about the workplace counteraction of Colin Kaepernick and more on the verbal and material commodification of him as heroic.
