The Elders

As the artist explains, "The Elders" is a project that pays homage to those who have shaped who I am. Growing up, I was always taught to respect my elders. Anyone who was older than myself had authority and was to be followed without reproach. This was a rule I never questioned, but did not see the full value of until my journey into adulthood. As I faced my own challenges, I found guidance in the words of my elders and found a new respect for the experiences they bore witness to."
