The DegeneraTe Show

Although the show is a light-hearted play on the original exhibition title, there was nothing funny about that dark time in history, when artists were censored, silenced, sent into exile, or worse. There are too many parallels between those years in Europe and what we are seeing in the U.S. today.

Concerns about the environment, racism, immigration, Native rights, gender equality, Islamophobia, police brutality, militarism, domestic violence, and more are heightened in a world that feels ever smaller and with a national leader who is a small man indeed.
