Samual Weinberg ::: Unprecedented Flurry

The Pink Man, runs amuck across dozens of new pieces in a solo show

Unprecedented Flurry, Samual Weinberg’s solo show at HAIR+NAILS Gallery, features nearly 35 new works depicting a strange world where his character, the Pink Man, runs amuck. Along with the show, Weinberg is releasing a non- traditional artist book, The Pink Man Files: Volume 2, which ends up being equal parts artist book, fiction, and zine.

Weinberg recently had solo shows at Sadie Halie Projects in Minneapolis, Fogstand Gallery in Taiwan, and Thierry Goldberg Gallery’s Project Room in New York City. In 2015/16 he was awarded a Jerome Fellowship, which culminated in a fellowship show at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and is currently a recipient of a MN State Arts Board 2017 Artist Initiative Grant. He received his BFA from the University of Wisconsin–Stout and currently lives and works in St. Paul, MN.
