An exhibition of artwork that approaches uncomfortable interactions through mixed media art.
Question the Buildup focuses on refining the experience of encountering an uncomfortable interaction through the exhibition of art. The artwork that will be presented ranges from uncanny valley to explicitly political subject matter. With the variety of different uncomfortable interactions; objects, words, conversations, actions and ideas, it’s destined for the viewers to relate to at least one art piece, even if they do not want to.
Featured artists include: Samantha Lamb, Francesca Miguieles Auil, Michael Magoo, Pearl Davis, Brooks Geenen, Savannah Bortner, Ashlie Paulsen, Eddie Hamilton, and Max Kollman.
