Memories of the Present - Ezra Siegel

Gallery360 presents work by Chicago-based abstract painter Ezra Siegel

Gallery 360 welcomes Chicago based painter Ezra Siegel to grace the gallery walls with the pigments, symbols, and shapes that combine to create a show entitled, Memories of the Present.  Known as a contemporary abstract painter, Siegel treats the Twin cities audience to an exemplary foray of energetic oil paintings that emit a playful exuberance.  These minimalist modern canvases produce an immediate visceral reaction with their carefully chosen graphic representations.  Highly process oriented with use of multi-layered pigment glazes, graphite scribbles, and paint drips, these works produce an element of spontaneity that is signature to Siegel. Feasts for the eye, Siegel’s painterly expressions are a musing slice of summertime entertainment.
