Huyser typically uses objects found around the home or at garage sales. He depicts them against white backdrops, isolated from the world in which they exist. Left to occupy the space on their own, these ordinary items disclose their age, wear, and enduring presence.
This most recent body of drawings and paintings, while similar in style, is more personal in nature.
