Carrie Thompson’s work explores roots, rootlessness, and restlessness. These ideas are informed by her upbringing as the child of a broken family. Her newest work, From This Day Forward: Marriage and Miscarriage, focuses on being grounded, getting married, and having a family. The show highlights both ends of the emotional spectrum while embracing the day to day.
