Amoreena Tarvas: At the Sky

Collaborative watercolor, letterpress, and tattooing come together in Minneapolis artist Amoreena Tarvas’ work. An exploration of community, body image, and self expression, her process fuses body art and traditional book making techniques. Illustrations from At The Sky, a collaboration with poet Thressa Johnson and local publisher Beard Poetry, are featured alongside Tarvas’ handmade book about tattoo culture, "Body of Work".
